1990's : Meccanotecnica anticipates the market requirements by automating the process of gathering and sewing of books. Its systems for automatic gathering and sewing open a new era in book sewing. 

2000's : Meccanotecnica sets new unmatched standards of performance: 220 c/min! Furthermore, the Aster 220SA stands out for its performances, self-learing set-up and sophisticated technical solutions. Meccanotecnica's plan to produce books in a single pass starting from folded signatures, results in our first in-line back gluing machine.
