The Lega squeeze roller stacker is a universal delivery unit for all makes of folding machines. It delivers signatures in compact piles ready for comfortable unloading. Upper and lower infeed belts ensure safe transport of signatures from the folding machine to the Lega. Each signature is fed through two pairs of rollers. The first pair remove air so that no wrinkles are created during pressing. The second pair of chromiumplated rollers then completely flatten out the signature with a pressing force of up to 4000 kg. Pressed signatures are shingled to a bottom-fed stacker which delivers a uniform vertical pile. The pile is laid on pallets without the need for additional pressing.
