The Multiplex SA is a superautomatic version of the most popular gathering and sewing line on the market – the Multiplex line. The Multiplex line sets standards among automatic sewing lines for efficiency, reliability and ease of use.
The Multiplex SA line is composed of an MX gathering machine and up to three Aster book sewing machines with automatic loading. The sewing machines can be Aster 180, Aster 220C or Aster 220 SA, either in standard or large size.
Thanks to its modular build the Multiplex SA line can be tailored according to the production requirements and space availability of each customer. The line can also be extended at a later date with extra gathering units and sewing machines.
Multiplex SA features as standard the SignaLynx signature control system, without any restriction on the size of the job in production.
Thanks to the net, programs can be transferred from one sewing machine to another. This feature reduces set-up time and programming errors.
Sewn book blocks can be unloaded with the Magix automatic unloading system.
Each sewing machine can be used off-line simply by opening its infeed hopper guard. This enables efficient processing of short runs and urgent jobs.
